About T. Scott Jones

T. Scott Jones is a formidable trial lawyer and dedicated advocate for his clients at Banks & Jones in Knoxville, Tennessee. Born and raised in Knoxville, T. Scott demonstrated exceptional dedication from an early age, becoming one of the youngest Eagle Scouts in the country at just thirteen. He graduated from Farragut High School in 1984 and went on to earn three degrees and a minor from Oxford College and Emory University by 1988, all while actively participating in his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi. T. Scott then returned to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he graduated early, despite maintaining full-time employment throughout his studies.

Scott is deeply committed to his community, handling numerous pro bono cases each year and working extensively with the Kerbela Shriners of Knoxville and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
