About Robert A. Shrage

Attorney Shrage joined Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith in 2015, where he currently focuses on Personal Injury Litigation including representing victims of motor vehicle and other accidents. Prior to joining Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith, Attorney Shrage represented victims throughout the State of Connecticut in personal injury and other civil matters, including participation in mediations and arbitrations, as well as litigating cases at the trial court level. He had also previously worked for Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith as an assistant in complex litigation matters, including conducting discovery review on behalf of victims of wrongful death due to their exposure to defective dialysis products (MDL 2428: In Re: Fresenius Granuflo/Naturalyte Dialysate Products Liability Litigation).

Robert A. Shrage received his Law Degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was an avid Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Competitor. As a member of Quinnipiac’s Mock Trial Honor Society, Attorney Shrage won several regional and national awards. He also served as a member of Quinnipiac Law’s Mock Trial Executive Board and he now serves as a Trial Advocacy Competition Coach. Upon graduation, Attorney Shrage received the Arnold J. Bai Award for Outstanding Potential and Promise in Trial Litigation Awarded to one graduating student, chosen by the law school faculty, whom they believe demonstrates outstanding promise in the field of litigation.

Before he became a lawyer, Robert A. Shrage was a devoted and competitive fighter in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts as both an amateur and a professional. He now fights for his clients with the same devotion and intensity as he did in the ring.
