Mark Chappell has been very fortunate to practice as a trial lawyer for over 30 years. As a founding partner of Chappell Smith & Arden, P.A. he has handled thousands of cases in personal injury, truck and auto accidents, catastrophic injury, and product liability. He only represents people who have been injured through others negligence. He does not represent insurance carriers, employers, or companies.

As one of ten children from a family in Chester, SC, Mark knows what it is like to work hard and appreciate one’s roots. While neither of his parents graduated high school, he feels very blessed to have attended college, graduating in three years with degrees in both economics and finance. He was then accepted to the University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated in 1984. He was admitted to practice in 1985 and has been proudly practicing since. Mark has been married to his high school sweetheart for 35 years and is the proud father of four children, one of whom practices law with him.
