David Carriger has practiced law with the firm since 1996. He focuses his practice primarily on personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and toxic torts. David helped pioneer products liability litigation against mobile mining equipment manufacturers who failed to include proximity detection technology on their machines, thus severely injuring and killing coal miners. David was a lead attorney for the firm in class-action litigation against the Monsanto Company related to its dioxin contamination of the City of Nitro, West Virginia, and its residents. He has also litigated similar environmental contamination cases around the nation. During his free time, David enjoys roaming the West Virginia outdoors with his family, roots for West Virginia University’s sports teams, and valiantly attempts to keep up with his teenage children’s high school activities. He resides with his wife and children in Charleston.
