About Christina Cossich

Christina Cossich graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. During her time at Villanova, Christina worked at the London offices of international law firm Clyde & Co and as a research assistant to the head forensic pediatrician at the CARE Center of Children’s Hospital. Christina received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University College of Law.
 
Although her primary focus is complex civil litigation, Christina has represented individuals, governmental agencies and businesses in both individual lawsuits and in class actions and multi district litigations. She held a leadership role with the Deepwater Horizon Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee Science Group tasked with determining the fate and transport of the oil spill as well as the extent and duration of environmental and ecological damages, and also successfully represented hundreds of plaintiffs in their claims against BP.
 
Christina has been appointed by the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina to serve as a member of the Plaintiff’s Executive Committee in the Aqueous Film-Forming Foams Products Liability Litigation. She is currently a co-chair of the PEC Science Committee charged with developing the scientific connection between AFFF and the damages of those contaminated by it.
