Butch Wooten is an Orlando personal injury lawyer who has been practicing personal injury law in Orlando since founding the firm in 1968. Wooten received his undergraduate, M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Board Certified by The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He devotes his practice to representing plaintiff‑s in personal injury law, including the areas of general liability and products liability.
Wooten is also a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and has been certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1983. He was named in the top 1% of Florida Lawyers in Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite in 2004, 2005 and 2007.
Wooten was admitted to the Florida Bar in June 1968 after obtaining his law degree from the University of Florida in December, 1967. Upon graduation, he began the practice of law with the firm that is today known as Wooten, Kimbrough and Normand, P.A.
Since that time he has represented Plaintiffs in all types of personal injury litigation. He was first designated as a Board Certified Lawyer in Civil Trial Practice by National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1981, and in 1983 by the Florida Bar.
