Gideon Asen has experience in a wide range of medical malpractice cases, including spinal cord diagnosis cases, birth injury cases and delayed diagnosis of cancer cases. In addition to medical malpractice cases, Gideon Asen specializes in trucking accidents, maritime cases and complex auto accidents.

Here are brief descriptions of our  three attorneys:

Ben began his career in private practice at a large, multi-national law firm  in New York City. He practiced there for several years before deciding to return to Maine to join Berman & Simmons, PA, Maine’s largest plaintiff’s law firm. In 2020, he left Berman & Simmons to start his own law firm.

Ben is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading medical malpractice attorneys. He is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only group of the best 100 plaintiff lawyers in the United States. He lectures in Maine and throughout the United States on medical malpractice and wrongful death cases, and is a member of the faculty at Trail Lawyers University.

Along with Rahul Ravipudi, Ben co-hosts Elawvate, a popular podcast on trial law. Guests have included many of the nation’s leading trial attorneys, including other members of the Injury Board.
