About Victoria Santoro
Victoria “Tori” Santoro Mair joined the Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow family in 2010 and immediately made her name as a tenacious and skilled litigator. Prior to joining MBBB, Attorney Mair had widely supplemented her law school studies with a variety of litigation-based clinics, working both for the Middlesex District Attorney and for the United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts in the Public Corruption Unit. Her experience dovetailed well with cases handled by MBBB as she had previously been assigned to work on a trial involving corruption on Boston’s Big Dig construction project, a matter similar in many respects to the tunnel ceiling collapse litigation that MBBB handled from 2006 to 2008. Her courtroom experiences were the driving force behind her passion for impact litigation.
Since joining the firm, Attorney Mair has continued her work of holding wrongdoers accountable and handles a variety of different types of cases including pharmaceutical litigation, wrongful death, medical malpractice and sexual assault. Attorney Mair also regularly handles arbitration, mediation, complex brief-writing and motion hearings, intakes of new clients, legal seminars, live interviews and more. Notable results include a multi-million dollar verdict against an international hotel chain for the wrongful death drowning of a father of four.
Extremely active in the Massachusetts Bar Association, Attorney Mair serves on the Executive Management Board as well as the House of Delegates. She is the immediate past Chair of the Young Lawyers Division, is a member the Sole Practitioner and Small Firm Section Council and serves on the Oliver Wendell Holmes Scholarship Committee. Attorney Mair co-chairs the Boston Bar Association’s Recently Elected Partners Forum. In her first year of eligibility, Attorney Mair was voted a Super Lawyers Rising Star. In 2014, she received an Excellence In The Law “Up & Coming Lawyer” award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Attorney Mair speaks regularly at national legal conferences, local continuing legal education seminars, and has been a guest speaker in law schools. She is a contributor to numerous legal publications and blogs, including the American Bar Association’s “Law Technology Today.” She is also devoted to the empowerment of young women and girls and has been a contributor to “I Am That Girl,” an online community devoted to the emotional, mental and physical well-being of young women and girls.
Attorney Mair is a 2007 graduate of Wesleyan University and attended Boston College Law School.
