Patrick A. Salvi II is the Managing Equity Partner of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard and one of Illinois’ most accomplished Plaintiff’s trial attorneys. Over the course of his career, Mr. Salvi has recovered more than $2 billion for individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths.

A skilled trial lawyer known for his preparation, courtroom ability, and results-driven approach, Mr. Salvi has secured numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. His notable results include a $363 million jury verdict in a case involving individuals impacted by toxic exposure, a $241 million jury verdict in a wrongful death case, a $148 million jury verdict for a young dancer who was paralyzed when a pedestrian shelter collapsed on her at O’Hare International Airport, and a $79.85 million verdict for the family of a 10-year-old girl who was killed in a crash stemming from an unauthorized Chicago Police Department pursuit.

Mr. Salvi’s accomplishments have earned widespread recognition within the legal profession. He has been named a Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” multiple times and was named Chicago Lawyer Magazine’s 2023 “Person of the Year,” primarily for his work on the Sterigenics litigation and his efforts as President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association to amend the wrongful death statute to include punitive damages when a defendant’s conduct was reckless or intentional. He has also received the Jury Verdict Reporter’s Plaintiff Attorney Achievement Award and five Trial Lawyer Excellence Awards.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Salvi is a former President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and has held leadership positions within ITLA and the American Association for Justice. He remains committed to advocating for those who need a strong voice in the courtroom.
