About Charles M. Murray

I learned about trial work at an early age from my father. He would tell us stories about the people who were relying on him to resolve their tragedies. Even now, our clients usually have no greater concern than the problems they bring to our offices. We help people who are harmed by others and have no place to go for justice.
As a result of testimony we presented from experts across the country, now the hospitals in Northern Ohio have changed their practices. People will be protected in the operating room because of these efforts. And yet, medical errors are the leading cause of accidental death, and people are harmed every day by negligent medical care.
Clients, experts, other lawyers, judges and jurors all bring different perspectives to each particular case. Recently, a client testified she never let herself cry over the loss she suffered from negligent surgery until she was on the witness stand, telling her story to a jury. Understanding how each party will perceive a case is one of the things I truly enjoy about my work.
