Paulson & Nace

For over forty years, Paulson & Nace, PLLC has represented those injured through no fault of their own in medical negligence, product defect, wrongful death and other catastrophic injury cases. Founded by Barry J. Nace (1944-2021) in 1979, Paulson & Nace is recognized by lawyers and judges throughout the Washington, D.C. region as zealous advocates willing to stand before a jury and fight for their clients. Barry Nace served as president of the American Association for Justice as well as the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Following in their father’s footsteps, Christopher T. Nace and Matthew A. Nace have carved their own paths in the courtroom and as leaders in the plaintiffs’ bar. Both Chris and Matt have successfully secured jury verdicts in numerous jurisdictions. Christopher Nace is a member of AAJ’s Executive Committee, a past president of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. and is TLA-D.C.’s current legislative committee chair. Matthew Nace is a past chair of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle Section and the president-elect of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
