IB Member Named President of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association

Memphis-based IB member Thomas R. Greer of Bailey & Greer, PLLC was recently named president of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA) during their annual convention in San Destin, FL. Greer has been an active member of the TTLA since 2005, serving both on the Board of Governors and as its Vice President in past years.

Previously known as the Tennessee Association for Justice (TNAJ), The TTLA was founded in 1964 by a group of trial attorneys as a non-profit organization intent on protecting the civil justice system and preserving the right to a trial by jury by upholding the laws of both the Tennessee and U.S. Constitutions. The TTLA also offers its attorney members a number of resources and educational opportunities to better support them in their practice of the law.

In regards to his upcoming position as president, Greer had the following to say: “I am excited to continue the good work we do… the right of Tennesseans, of Americans, to seek justice through the courts is one of the most important rights we have. I will do whatever I can to help our organization continue to advance that right.”

With a well-earned reputation for working hard on behalf of his clients to secure favorable verdicts and settlements, Greer is a partner at Bailey & Greer, PLLC who has been instrumental in serving the Memphis, Jackson and Nashville areas of Tennessee. He is recognized in both the local and legal communities for his efforts and has strived to make a difference in the lives of victims of serious personal injury, wrongful death and professional negligence since graduating from the University of Memphis School of Law in 2005.
