Boston Injury Board Member Michael B. Bogdanow of Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow, P.C. will be honored next month as one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Top 10 Lawyers of the Year for 2015.
Honorees are nominated by their colleagues, clients and other legal professionals. But what makes this award truly special to Bogdanow and his team, is that it’s because of their amazing teamwork in representing a 7-year-old girl, Samantha Reckis, and her parents, Lisa and Richard, after she sustained horrific injuries as a result of taking Motrin-brand ibuprofen and the neglect of the pharmaceutical companies.
Bogdanow and his team of eight attorneys went head-to-head with numerous national and international law firms in a David vs. Goliath trial when they convinced the Supreme Judicial Court to reaffirm the decision to award a family $63 million for horrific injuries sustained from the use of ibuprofen.
After more than a decade of fighting side-by-side with this Reckis family and his dedicated team of attorneys, Bogdanow is being recognized for his passion for justice and helping people who have been wronged by negligence and recklessness.
We are proud to call him an IB member and colleague!
