Number of IB Members Participating in #IBDayofAction for Homeless Vets Grows

IB_DoAWith just under two months to go before the Injury Board Day of Action (#IBDayofAction), we are excited to announce that the number of firms participating is nearing 20.

On Thursday, Nov. 6, we will host the first-ever IB Day of Action, a collaborative effort between our member firms, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Guiltless Giving. The goal of the event is to show support to homeless veterans in our members’ local communities by donating personal hygiene kits and other essentials, as well as their time — all on the same day as part of one collaborative, nationwide effort.

Because each VA facility has different needs, we are coordinating efforts between our member firms and their local VA volunteer coordinators. Donated items may include: personal hygiene kits, business attire, blankets, transportation cards and/or anything that our members local veterans affairs facilities may need.

With firms in 17 different cities — which translates to 17 different VA facilities (as of press time) — the #IBDayofAction is already shaping up to be a fantastic success.

But we’re not done yet. We are still looking for more help. Following are the firms that have registered thus far:
