IB Members Make a Difference During AAJ Baltimore

392745_10151124480095018_1373071707_nJuly is National Make A Difference to Children Month and we are joining together to help impact the lives of ill and injured children in Maryland.

While at the 2014 American Association for Justice Annual Convention in Baltimore, IB members and their guests plan to take some time out to help volunteer at a local medical center.

As part of our past efforts, The Injury Board is partnering with the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Pediatric Emergency Department, a nonprofit teaching hospital dedicated to serving the needs of infants, children and teenagers in Baltimore regardless of their ability to pay.

During the event, we will have the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with the young patients and their families. Volunteers will get to help children decorate the patient rooms, create birthday and holiday decorations for the department, read and play games with the children, and much more!

In addition, The Injury Board Foundation is donating books, toys, gaming consoles, radios, dvd players and many other items to the pediatric emergency department for future use.
