At the beginning of 2014, corporate IB member and Lawsuit Financial Corp. founder Mark Bello worked with an international nonprofit to help provide food to those in need.
Lawsuit Financial Corp. donated to the Stop Hunger Now organization, an international hunger relief agency that has been fulfilling its commitment to end hunger for more than 15 years.
The company donated $5 for every attorney with which it does business, which totaled to approx. 155 attorneys. This was the first time the firm has worked with Stop Hunger Now, however, it’s not the first time for helping those in need receive food.
In the past, Lawsuit Financial has sponsored canned food drives during seminars for the Michigan Association for Justice, during which the company encouraged each attendee to bring canned foods and drop them off at the Lawsuit Financial booth. The firm also initiated a canned food drive by placing donation boxes in law firms throughout the Metro Detroit area for employees and clients to donate. All of the donations from the company’s several food drives were donated to Forgotten Harvest, a nonprofit that distributes food to the homeless and hungry in metro Detroit.
