IB Member Elected to Serve as BIAA Chairman

daniel-chamberlain-photoIndianapolis-based IB member Daniel Chamberlain was recently elected to serve as chairman of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA), the oldest and largest nationwide brain injury advocacy organization in the country.

In early January, the BIAA announced Chamberlain, of Doehrman Chamberlain, as the new chairman of the board for 2014-2015. In this role, Chamberlain will help spearhead the efforts to forward BIAA’s mission through its state divisions and affiliate chapters throughout the country.

The BIAA strives to advance brain injury prevention, research, treatment and education and to improve the quality of life for all individuals impacted by brain injury. Through advocacy, BIAA works to bring help, hope and healing to millions of individuals living with brain injury, their family members and the professionals who serve them.

“I am truly honored to have been selected for this post,” said Chamberlain. “This cause is near and dear to my heart. As a board member and vice chair, I am proud of the impact BIAA has had and continues to have on a daily basis to improve the outlook for TBI survivors and their families.”

Chamberlain is a longtime advocated for victims of traumatic brain injuries. He has served as a member of the American Association for Justice’s Brain Injury Litigation Group since 2007 and has been a professional member of the Brain Injury Association of Indiana (BIAI) since 1997.

Doehrman Chamberlain has been a corporate sponsor of the BIAI since 2000 and has been involved with the association in various capacities from volunteers to board and executive members.
