Injury Board Members Raise $20,000+ for Grassroots Group

Who says one group can’t make a difference? Just ask The Injury Board.

In less than 48 hours, Injury Board members raised more than $20,000 to help make sure the Civil Justice Foundation – an organization that provides grants to progressive grassroots groups that work for consumer injury prevention and public safety protection – can keep its doors open.

The CJF is fundamentally different from other lawyer organizations. It’s not a political organization or a lobbying group. The CJF makes innovative safety and injury prevention projects come to life, as well as supporting projects, which further the protection of the civil justice system.

Unfortunately, like many groups, the CJF has fallen on hard times due to its giving nature, doling out thousands of dollars to groups that need it most.

With fear that the group may have to shut its doors, members of The Injury Board rallied together to start a campaign to raise both awareness and funds for the CJF. Donations are still coming in, but currently the group has posted more than $20,000 in donations.

What’s more, The Safety Report, a consumer’s guide to safety and wellness, has also donated ad space to the CJF to help promote its cause.
